GDPR - General Data Protection Regulation

The DPA (Data Protection Act) 2018 sets out the framework for data protection law in the UK, it replaces the Data Protection Act 1998 and came into effect on 25th May 2018.

The DPA 2018 sits alongside the GDPR to instructs the companies how the GDPR applies in the UK. It is the General Data Protection Regulation which it sets out the key principles, rights and obligations for most processing of personal data.

The PECR (Privacy and Electronic Communication Regulations) also sits alongside the DPA and GDPR and have been amended several times since 25th May 2018. This give people specific privacy rights in relation to electronic communications which cover the several areas including marketing calls, email, texts, faxes, cookies, location data, identification services, network service provider, video messages and internet messaging.

Personal Email and Business Website

I am a sole trader and responsible to handling and keep your personal data securely.

This entire website doesn't collect sensitive information such as banking detail or any relevant personal data. The payment is only be made through Paypal or Bank Transfer online outside this site.

I only can identify the customer detail from private email message that it contains the names and house addresses. Email can be either personal, business or combination.

I will handle your both personal email address detail and private messages in my email account and never share it with the public or other business sites. I will inform you if the other sites needs your personal details to assist you with your particular website such as domain name, website hosting, etc.

If you have a new email address or house address, please inform me then I will update your personal data. If no longer or meet the end of contract, the data will be deleted securely.

If I recognise any malicious emails, I have a right to delete it immediately to prevent spread the virus through my email inboxes.

Affiliate Marketing

Many clients/users may have the familiarity with the affiliate marketing program, which an owner earns the commission by promoting a suppiler's product service.

I've joined affiliate marketing program and use a referral link including image banner on my subdomain website only.

The affiliate data including user's click data, geographic regions, tracking and specific website pages will be collected and stored into a web-based database for a supplier/marketing provider to audit the marketing data reporting. And also a provider/market company acknowledge the GDPR compliance and are responsible for controlling and configuring their integrated web-based marketing software.

Cookie Policy and Google Analytics

A cookie is a special text file that it contains the user data when a visitor browses the webpages via computer, smartphone and tablets. Google Analytics is installed onto this site to recognises the type of devices, location, number of visitors, website preferences and the history actions.

I installed a cookie control tool that allow a user to disable the Google Analytics. Click a black triangle button at the bottom left-hand corner.
